Rigging Arm

Rigging Arms for Wire Ropes
Our new rigging arms RA-1250, RA-2000 & RA-4000 aid the operator to produce a turn back hard- or soft eye easily and safe.
The rigging arm is divided into two modules: the turn section, that forms the eye and the pull sections that sizes the eye. The operation is self-explaining and easily performed with two joy sticks. So even a single person is now able to produce a big diameter lifting sling safe and without any force.
Safe and Easy to Handle
- Dead end of the rope is securely clamped
- Strong rotate and pull device
- Easy operation via joy sticks
Efficient
- Less manpower involved
- Fast production of soft and hard eyes

Wire rope cutters

Wire rope cutters
The optimum composition of the material for all prefabricated parts as well as their perfect thermal treatment guarantee durability and excellent quality of cut of all models. Wire ropes with a greater diameter than those mentioned can also be cut by separating the strands of the wire rope with a spike. The triangular cutting system prevents crushing of the rope end.
- Knife and bolt made from hardened steel
- Triangle cutting system prevents wire rope from becoming crushed
- Strong and light handles
- Replaceable wear parts

Our annealing machine in use
This video demonstrates working with our Type 1224 annealing machine. It demonstrates the fundamental principle of separating a rope wire with a cutting and annealing machine. Depending on the wire rope diameter and the desired tapered end length the clearance between the clamping jaws is set before clamping the wire rope. Press the foot pedal to start the current flow, and the rope starts to glow. The wire rope is now slowly turned according to its lay direction and simultaneously pulled apart. The result is a professional looking tapered end on both sides of the rope. The fundamental work process applies to our entire annealing machine programme Type 1224-1226.

Our hydraulic press in use
This video demonstrates working with our 415 kN swager. It illustrates the fundamental principle of swaging using an aluminium ferrule. This fundamental finishing process applies to our entire swager program. The integrated automatic function is very helpful if you have to process large batches: without taking your foot off the foot pedal, the press closes and opens again as soon as the set pressure has been reached. You can preset the return stroke in the process. This saves time and is ergonomic. The controls have similar design on our 900 kN, 3000 kN, 6000 kN, 12500 kN, 20000 kN and 4000 kN machines.

Robust
Cutting-edge technology from Germany, tested for decades under the most hostile conditions.
Reliable
We use only high quality components from leading manufacturers or components specially manufactured to our standards, ensuring that your machine is ready for use at all times. We guarantee a supply of spare parts for 30 years.
Easy to use
It is particularly easy to operate since the ferrule is pressed from the top and the work piece does not move vertically with the piston. The controls are located at the right spot and you can operate them intuitively. Documentation and signage are provided in the local language.
Safe
Our presses comply with the current valid EU Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and are manufactured according to ISO9001.
High speed / performance
Our presses stand apart thanks to their high engine performance and thus high press speeds. At low pressure, press speed is the maximum permissible 10 mm/s.

Horizontal test bed
Typical technical characteristics
Our test beds are specially designed for non-destructive and destructive testing of steel wire ropes, synthetic ropes, chains, shackles, etc., according to DIN ISO 2307 and EN 12385. The forces generated during testing are contained within the structure of the frame. The specimen is mounted between the clevis and the carriage pin. Typical characteristics of our test beds are: robust design, ease of use, computer control, long cylinder stroke, electronic force and elongation measurement and the use of high-quality single components. With automatic data acquisition, storage and evaluation.
The accuracy of our machines is higher than Class 1 EN ISO 7500-1:2004. They are easy to use and are manufactured according to the current European machinery directive 2006/42/EG. With more than 50 years of experience in the wire rope industry our engineers will also find the perfect solution for your application.
Hydraulics
The force of a modern test bed is generated in the hydraulic power pack. We develop and assemble our units in-house. With many years of experience we are able to guarantee that the hydraulic unit runs perfectly with your machine. We only use high-quality components from leading manufacturers in order to guarantee reliable operation under the toughest conditions. This includes extremely low-wear piston and piston rod seals, double-acting hydraulic cylinders and extremely low-noise hydraulic pumps.
Load cell
The load cell forms the heart of a modern test bed. We develop our load cells ourselves and ensure that they are manufactured according to our specifications. This way, we are able to guarantee that the force measurement in general exceeds CLASS 1 of EN ISO 7500-2004-I in terms of precision. The piston rod and clevis are securely attached to the load cell in order to test the force as close to the device under test as possible.
